“Today”

Write a story titled “Today”.

Today, everything changed.

At first, I thought that maybe something had happened to me, that I was daydreaming or something. But no, this actually is happening.

Today, the world exploded.

And no, I don’t mean a silly online explosion or anything like that. This was the real thing.

Rocks were flying everywhere, houses and vehicles, and everything imaginable. The air was going crazy with all the turbulence and stuff floating around it in.

I think I saw my school floating around, but I couldn’t bee too sure. At least there wouldn’t be school anymore.

Or, at least, that’s what I thought.

Except the world didn’t end like I thought it would. In fact, the complete opposite happened.

The entire world lives in the clouds now. Everything just seems so… natural… almost as if humans were supposed to live in the clouds.

Some of the smaller buildings that stuck to chunks of earth are now being supported by large clouds, while my house is atop another. Sure, we’re going to have to figure out how to get from place to place–cloud jumping hasn’t exactly reached its peak in the few hours since everything changed. However, I’m ready to learn how to make the world a better place.

And who knows, maybe we were. But one thing is for certain: Our lives will never be the same.

Final Comments: I don’t really have much to say about this one. But wouldn’t it be cool to live in a cloud kingdom?!
