“To Be At The Beach…”

I’d really love to be somewhere warm right now. Somewhere with palm trees and sunshine and beaches. Yeah, that’d be nice.

Instead, it’s the middle of winter. There are snowbanks here that are literally taller than me and the snow just keeps on falling. We’re still pretty much in the middle of winter right now, so I’m guessing we’ll be getting a lot more snow still.

But for now, let’s return to the beach. Somewhere warm and sunny would be super nice right about now. I absolutely love beaches, especially the ones with lots of fish and coral in the more shallow water where you’re able to see them.

I think that my favourite part of the beach is being able to go in the water. I actually don’t really like the feeling of sand–it’s so grainy and hot, plus it gets everywhere and it takes days to get it all out of your clothes. But when you’re in the water, you don’t really have to worry about the sand. You can just float there and relax in the sun.

I’m hoping to be able to go to a beach again soon. In the mean time, hopefully the temperature here will start to rise again and the snow and ice will start melting.

Final Comments: Definitely not enjoying the winter weather…
