“The Sun Gave Up”

The Seers said that it was only a matter of time before the Sun gave up on us.

I mean, I can’t say that I blame it. We haven’t exactly been kind to our planet, with all the Energy we’ve been drawing from the soil.

And now, the Sun is fighting back. It’s stopped providing us with the light and warmth we need to survive. The entire planet is covered in ice now, creating a barrier so thick that not even the strongest of us can draw Energy from it anymore.

It’s poetic, really. We’ve killed the planet. And now the planet is killing us.

There’s not much left to do now but beg forgiveness from the Sun. And if that doesn’t work, then we’re all doomed.
