“The Man in Grey”
This Take Ten to Write story was submitted by E. L. Stew. Happy reading!
The man stepped out of the carriage, onto the platform, and turning his head slightly he looked across the station to a shop opposite him. He kept his head pointed slightly in the direction of the shop, so he could keep an eye on the man in grey.
The man in grey was definitely following him.
He had wondered why at first.
Why was the man in grey being so obvious about his pursuit? There was nothing special about him. He must have the wrong guy. He was being tailed to be intimidated. This made him hate the man in grey. To intimidate was the worse sin, he believed.
He felt a bond with the man who was clearly their real target. He would keep running around leading the man in grey in circles, until they both ran out of patience. He had to protect the real target.
