Beet and Feta Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • Beet (1)
  • Feta cheese (2 cups)
  • Lettuce (100 leaves)
  • Balsamic vinaigrette (2 cups)
  • Toppings (of your choosing)

Steps

  1. Thoroughly wash one leaf of lettuce in a large bowl.
  2. Scrape the leaf until you are able to see the light through the leaf.
  3. Thoroughly wash the leaf again, being careful not to rip it.
  4. Gently place the leaf on a silver plate.
  5. Repeat steps 1 – 4 for all 99 remaining leaves.
  6. Cut the beet into 1 cm cubes.
  7. Sprinkle the beet cubes over the lettuce leaves.
  8. Sprinkle the feta cheese over the lettuce leaves and beet cubes.
  9. Pour the balsamic vinaigrette in the middle of the salad.
  10. (Optional) Pour any toppings onto the salad.
  11. Freeze overnight (8 hours)
  12. Enjoy with a side of water.
