“Love With a Capital ‘L'”

Let me begin by saying that I’m much more powerful than you and that I can control the outcome of the rest of your life.

Alright, now that that’s out of the way, let me introduce myself. Hi, I’m Love. Yes, the concept, but my name is capitalized, thank you very much.

Now, some of you may adore me, others may hate me. That’s okay; I know that it’s impossible to be liked by everyone. I should know; Like is jealous of me because I’m more powerful.

For those of you who adore me, I’m sure it’s because I’ve filled your life with joy. May it be because of a pet or another fellow human being, you’re happy. And that’s great; I’m happy for you too.

Now, if you’re on the other end of the spectrum, then I apologize. I truly am sorry that you aren’t happy. However, you should know that I’m not trying to be cruel. In some cases, it’s completely out of my control. Death sometimes gets in my way, as does Life.

I would also like to add that I’m supposed to be a neutral entity. Not everyone can have me, which may sound awful, but it’s true. Balance must exist.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some work to do. There’s a beautiful proposal happening over there and I must decide on which side of the scale this couple falls.

Final Comments: This one actually took a lot of brainpower to write. All abstract concepts are super complex and it’s hard to find the right words to describe them.
