“Dream-Dazzle Delight!”

Samantha entered her favourite doughnut shop, completely unaware that her life was about to change forever…

She had been intending to buy the usual doughnut for both herself and her little sister, Vanessa. While Samantha liked cream-filled doughnuts, Vanessa preferred jelly-filled with powdered sugar.

But when Samantha reached the counter, she noticed a special display.

Doughnut of the month: Dream-Dazzle Delight!

Samantha peered into the window to see the Dream-Dazzle Delight. It was quite a large doughnut, with a sleek pink glaze and white star-shaped sprinkles.

At the last second, Samantha changed her mind.

“I’ll take two Dream-Dazzle Delights,” she said.

Seconds later, Samantha had the precious cargo in her hands. She held them carefully all the way home so that the glaze didn’t melt into the paper bag.

When she got home, she called Vanessa to the kitchen. They sat down at the table and Samantha gave Vanessa her surprise.

“Now,” Samantha said before Vanessa opened the bag, “I know you really like jelly-filled doughnuts, but the doughnut of the month looked so good that I thought we just had try try it!”

Vanessa opened the bag and her eyes immediately lit up. “It’s pink!” she exclaimed. “I love it already!”

Samantha chuckled at her sister’s reaction.

“Come on, dig in!” Samantha exclaimed.

Together, the two sisters took a bite.

And that’s when their lives changed forever…

Final Comments: I loved writing this one! I’m also hungry, but that’s not really relevant…
