Prompt: “Let go.”

It wasn’t like him to meet a stranger in the night.

“But it was okay,” he thought “I am meet up with her in a public space, so it will probably be okay.” He hadn’t taken a shower or groomed himself before coming because he had been so excited. He wondered if that had been a mistake now. Probably.

Lady M. spotted him when he was just outside of The Leaf. He felt the firecracker of nerves in his legs. He hoped she didn’t see their slight tremble. He was so excited to meet her. He flashed his eyes towards her. He thought he detected a slight interest from her.

He made his way towards her, trying not to look too desperate.

“Please let this work.”

He could smell her pheromones. He let out a little squeal of delight. Surprisingly she didn’t seem too taken aback. She continued to let him approach her. He tried to look appealing and masculine.

They spent the next moments in perfect bliss. Lady M. didn’t speak much. In fact he couldn’t remember if she had said anything at all since he got to The Leaf.

finally, when he was at he felt exposed and vulnerable, she attacked him, going straight for his head. Well, he knew love could get to your head, but he hadn’t expected it tol be like this. She was going to rip his head off!

“Please! Let Go!” he cried out in desperation.

Lady M. didn’t listen. She thought this was part of the deal. After all, wasn’t Mr. Mantis her dinner date?

Let me know your thoughts!
