Prompt: “It’s Canada Day!”

Prologue

Sisters, Olivia and Ariel needed to prepare for a celebration. Their dog, Cakey, was trained to help set up the party. He seemed to know that today was exciting, because of course, it was. It was Canada Day! They made a checklist for what everyone needed to do.

Celebration Checklist

Kitchen – Ariel
JULY 1st, 2017

• Cook and bake food like Canada Day cake
• Get/make chips, dips and other snacks

Living Room – Olivia
JULY 1st, 2017

• Make decorations like Canada Day banners and flags
• Get/make games like Canada Day Trivia

Backyard – Cakey

• Hang up decorations 
• Taste test food

The Celebration

The celebration was such a success. Everyone liked the snacks, enjoyed playing the games and enjoyed looking at the decorations. Probably because everyone helped out to make it a great time.

Epilogue

Now the party is over and Olivia, Ariel and Cakey need to clean up. Now they just need a checklist for who will do what to clean up!
