“Baby Swans”
This Take Ten to Write story was submitted by 12-year-old Mary. Happy reading!
Prologue
At sunset, someone was at the park sitting on a bench when 2 swans swam past each other in the lake. They noticed each other and instantly couldn’t stop looking at each other. The person thought that they might fall in love and they did. A few weeks later the person came back to the park. The person noticed that the swans had babies and called a few animal caretakers to look at the baby swans. They developed a checklist of what they could do to help the baby swans before releasing them back into the wild.
